Building the Iranian-Australian Community, Grounded in Iranian Culture with an Emphasis on Human Dignity
NEDA, born from the hearts of the Sydney Iranian community, is dedicated to growing and fostering cultural activities. NEDA is a non-political, non-religious, and non-profit organisation. It respects human dignity regardless of political affiliation, religion, gender, social class, and any type of human categorisation.
One of NEDA's main pillars is the Farsi School, which operates independently as a non-profit, but is foundational to the development of the permanent Iranian-Australian community. NEDA and the Sydney Iranian community jointly organise shared programs.
NEDA Foundation Structure and Goals
Objects of NEDA Foundation Australia:
- Community Development and Cultural Activities including Community Support, Migrant Support, Social Welfare, Charity Events, Youth Development and Engagement, and Training of Identity Realisation.
- Advancement of Education to establish and operate childcare, pre-schools, Language and Literacy Schools, Seminaries, Exhibitions and workshops, higher education and other educational facilities as determined by the Board.
- Support for Marginalised Groups providing support and services to marginalised or disadvantaged groups, emergency relief in times of crisis or disaster, and encouraging volunteerism and community involvement.
- Rights of Children and Families promoting the rights and well-being of children and families within the community.
- Public Funds to establish public funds for deductible gift recipient purposes, with the Board authorised to establish the rules for any such public fund.

ندا که از دل جامعه ایرانیان سیدنی شکل گرفته است، با هدف گسترش و تقویت فعالیتهای فرهنگی فعالیت میکند. ندا یک سازمان غیرسیاسی، غیرمذهبی و غیرانتفاعی است و کرامت انسانی را فارغ از گرایش سیاسی، باور دینی، جنسیت، جایگاه اجتماعی و هرگونه دستهبندی انسانی محترم میشمارد.
یکی از ارکان اصلی ندا، مدرسه فارسی است. این مدرسه به صورت مستقل و غیرانتفاعی فعالیت میکند، اما نقشی بنیادین در شکلگیری و توسعه پایدار جامعه ایرانی استرالیایی دارد. ندا و جامعه ایرانیان سیدنی نیز به صورت مشترک برنامهها و فعالیتهای فرهنگی و اجتماعی برگزار میکنند.
ساختار و اهداف بنیاد ندا
اهداف بنیاد ندا در استرالیا:
- توسعه جامعه و فعالیتهای فرهنگی شامل حمایت از جامعه، پشتیبانی از مهاجران، ارتقای رفاه اجتماعی، برگزاری برنامههای خیریه، رشد و مشارکت جوانان، و آموزش در زمینه شناخت و تقویت هویت فردی و فرهنگی.
- گسترش آموزش با هدف تأسیس و اداره مراکز نگهداری کودک، پیشدبستانیها، مدارس زبان و سوادآموزی، مراکز آموزشی، نمایشگاهها، کارگاهها، مؤسسات آموزش عالی و سایر فضاهای آموزشی که به تشخیص هیئتمدیره مورد نیاز باشند.
- حمایت از گروههای بهحاشیهراندهشده و آسیبپذیر ارائه خدمات و حمایت به گروههای محروم یا کمبرخوردار، کمکرسانی اضطراری در زمان بحرانها و بلایای طبیعی، و تشویق مشارکت اجتماعی و فعالیتهای داوطلبانه.
- حمایت از حقوق کودکان و خانوادهها ترویج حقوق، رفاه و امنیت کودکان و خانوادهها در جامعه.
- تأسیس صندوقهای عمومی ایجاد صندوقهای عمومی برای اهدافی که مشمول دریافت کمکهای قابل کسر از مالیات هستند، با اختیار هیئتمدیره برای تدوین و تصویب مقررات مربوط به هر یک از این صندوقها.
